This product is a colorless or light yellow transparent oily liquid. It is odorless, highly stable, non-volatile, and exhibits excellent plasticizing flame retardant properties, along with oil resistance, electrical insulation, and ease of processing. Insoluble in water but soluble in benzene, alcohol, ether, vegetable oil, mineral oil, and other organic solvents, it stands as a vital plasticizer for vinyl resins and nitrocellulose. When used in paints, it enhances flexibility. Additionally, it integrates seamlessly with synthetic rubber, PVC, polyester, polyolefin, and soft polyurethane foam plastics as flame retardants. It also finds application in electronic potting glue for polyurethane, imparting high polymers with outstanding abrasion resistance, weatherability, mildew resistance, radiation resistance, and electrical properties. Produced using a new and improved environmentally-friendly process, this product generates minimal waste and is classified as low in toxicity.
