It is easily processed and insoluble in water but dissolves readily in benzene, alcohol, ether, vegetable oil, mineral oil, and other organic solvents. This product is a vital vinyl resin and nitrocellulose plasticizer, enhancing the flexibility of paint films. It boasts excellent compatibility with synthetic rubber, PVC, polyester, polyolefin, and soft polyurethane foam plastics. Additionally, it serves as a flame retardant for electronic potting glue and polyurethane, imparting high polymers with remarkable abrasion resistance, weatherability, mildew resistance, radiation resistance, and electrical properties.
